Where are my photos ending up

Personal achievements

From time to time I make some research using Google Images to find out where are ending up. Among the million things I do, there is also stock photography. I use several websites like Shutterstock, Dreamstime, 123RF, Fotolia to sell images as stock free. Most of these images are travel photos which are usually used by travel agencies to promote several destinations. Sometimes these photos are printed but it is easier for me to find them online. However I have no control on who buys my images and where these are published. I have seen my images published on Airmalta’s Bizzilla inflight magazine and other local websites which promote tourism in Malta. However lately I was surprised to see my images on international websites such as National Geographic, Emirates, The Telegraph and Huffington Post.

For me selling images as stock is not just a way of earning some extra cash (which I then invest to buy more photographic equipment or save for further travel) but also a means of getting some kind ‘job satisfaction’… these accomplishments encourage me to work harder to improve my skills and become a better photographer.

Keep on following my stock photography results on my Facebook Page.
